B Excellence provides eight easily absorbed B vitamins plus trimethylglycine (TMG) in one capsule for a simple way to promote energy production, neurological function, and methylation.*  This product features all the B vitamins in pharmacological doses with ample Pantothenic Acid (B5), making it is well suited for people who have to handle high levels of chronic stress.*

About Methylation

In simple terms, methylation protects your DNA, which is necessary for health. When mutations occur in DNA, your risk of disease, such as cancer, increases. Methylated B vitamins, including methylcobalamin (B12) and methylfolate (B9) help protect DNA by donating their methyl groups to cytosine, one of the four nucleic acids that make up DNA.

Methylation also helps the body detoxify homocysteine, an amino acid that is associated with heart disease. Methylation plays a role in synthesis of neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and norepinephrine, and hormones, including melatonin an estrogen. It also regulates the fight-or-flight stress response and impacts the function of immune cells.
