It's formula includes a well-researched ratio of 5:1:1 of the three main branched chain amino acids (L-Leucine at 5 grams, L-Isoleucine at 1 gram and L-Valine at 1 gram per serving) which are your key muscle building foundation, comprising over 35% of skeletal muscle tissues amino pool. Unlike most amino acids, the BCAAs are not processed in the liver and metabolise almost entirely in skeletal muscle tissues following ingestion. BCAAs at sufficient doses show a marked anti-catabolic effect, sparing muscle tissue against metabolic demands and stress conditions (injury, surgery, burns, disease, intense training).
